Metro Drug Coalition is proud to host
Knoxville’s 2023 International Overdose Awareness Day!

Join us on August 31st at World’s Fair Park to remember those we have lost to overdose and celebrate life. There will be over 50 vendors at the resource fair, proclamations by both the city and county mayors, and a memorial for those we have lost to overdose.

All proceeds from this event benefit Metro Drug Coalition’s Recovery Housing Support Fund, which aids these individuals who are not financially capable of paying the initial fee to enter a safe place to further their recovery process.

The 2023 IOAD t-shirt will be available for purchase at the event. Sizes S-3XL are available for $25.

20% of sales benefit the Recovery Housing Support Fund, which aids these individuals who are not financially capable of paying the initial fee to enter a safe place to further their recovery process.

Honor someone you have lost to overdose or celebrate someone in recovery who brings hope to our community by bringing a photo to World’s Fair Park to add to our posters.

Don’t have a photo? Add the person’s name to a purple ribbon at the event!
