Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to the signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in young people. This 8-hour virtual training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to a youth who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to appropriate care. Please note, this training consists of a 2-hour self-paced portion with a 6-hour instructor led session via Zoom. The self-paced portion must be done prior to the instructor led session, which will be November 10.
