Recipient of the 2024 Commitment to Service Award
Congratulations to Rachel Loveday, LCSW, LADAC, CPRS of McNabb Center for winning the Commitment to Service Award at the 11th Annual Community Champion Awards. This award honors a person who is dedicated to giving back to the community, whether through their profession or volunteerism.
About Rachel
Rachel Loveday graduated with her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and then received her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. She is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Hopeful that her own lived experience could be of benefit to others, Rachel also obtained certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist to help support individuals in their own journey towards wellness and recovery.
Rachel has held several positions during her 7-year tenure with the McNabb Center, where she currently serves as the Clinical Services Coordinator for the CenterPointe Residential Detox and Treatment Program.
She continues to use her education and own personal experience with Substance Use Disorder to give back to the community, as she serves on multiple state and local professional committees and volunteers with many different agencies.
Rachel’s true passion is advocacy; she believes wholeheartedly in the potential of those she serves and sharing the message of hope. Rachel is thankful to her family, the McNabb Center and to Metro Drug Coalition for their work in the community.

Rachel has been committed to being an advocate for recovery services through her profession and also through her work in the community. She is what selfless service is. She dedicates her time to helping others…[Rachel] is a difference maker.
Rachel is fully present wherever she is serving, embodying the spiritual principles of someone who works a program every day. The way she serves with joy is a testimony life can be fun and full without the use of substances.
