Metro Drug Coalition is pleased to introduce our spring intern, Addison Edwards. Addison is a senior at the University of Tennessee, pursuing a degree in public relations and minoring in business administration. In addition to interning with MDC, Addison currently serves as the sales representative and social media advocate for The Bubblegum Boutique located in Turkey Creek. Outside of being a student and working, Addison loves to go hiking and explore new areas in and out of the country. For example, Addison spent time last summer studying international public relations in Urbino, Italy.
Addison’s previous experiences at work, travelling and attending school have modeled her strengths in communication, global competence and becoming a team player. In her free time, Addison has found joy in helping those around her through her church outreach and personal connections with the community.
Addison hopes her experience at MDC will include advancing her communication and planning skills. She is excited to learn more about nonprofit public relations and assisting in promoting substance abuse awareness in our community.
