Metro Drug Coalition is pleased to welcome our media relations intern for the summer, Molly Brinkley. Molly is a senior at the University of Tennessee and will graduate this fall with a degree in Communications, with a focus in public relations. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in a nonprofit organization focusing on either youth development or public health.
Molly has been involved with several organizations at UT, including Student Alumni Associates, Leadership Knoxville Scholars, and various programs within the Center for Leadership and Service. Outside of campus and MDC, Molly works at a local retail store and enjoys running, reading and hiking in the Smokies.
During her time with MDC, Molly hopes to learn more about drug addiction in East Tennessee and how to best serve those who are affected. While gaining experience in communications, she wants to learn how to use media relations to spread awareness of the effects of drug addiction on families and community members.
