Metro Drug Coalition is proud to host
Knoxville’s 2024 International Overdose Awareness Day!

Join us on August 30th at the Knoxville Convention Center to remember those we have lost to overdose and celebrate life. There will be a resource fair, proclamations by both the city and county mayors, and a memorial for those we have lost to overdose.

All proceeds from this event benefit Metro Drug Coalition’s Recovery Housing Support Fund, which aids these individuals who are not financially capable of paying the initial fee to enter a safe place to further their recovery process.

The 2024 IOAD t-shirt will be available for free at the event. A donation to MDC’s Recovery Housing Support Fund, which aids individuals who are not financially capable of paying the initial fee to enter a safe place to further their recovery process, is suggested.

Would you like to honor a loved one lost to overdose? Send a picture to be added to a slideshow that will play at the International Overdose Awareness Day event to bstyles@metrodrug.org.
