Halloween can be such a fun time for people of all ages. From young children to adults, everyone loves dressing up, being with family and friends, and having a reason to enjoy lots of fun Halloween treats. While this holiday can be so enjoyable, it is good to make sure you are following some simple tips for staying safe and helping keep others safe.
- Do not drink and drive. While drinking and driving are prohibited every day of the year, we know the number of people out on Halloween is a large number. From Trick or Treaters to adults attending Halloween parties, make good decisions before getting behind the wheel of a car.
- Escort and watch your children. It is so easy to think someone else is watching them, or they are safe with their friends, when in reality that isn’t always the case. Make sure your eyes are on your children, as this can help prevent accidents as well.
- Inspect all treats before your kids eat them. Eat only treats in original and unopened wrappers. If wrappers are faded, have holes, tears or signs of rewrapping, do not eat them and throw them away.
These tips are helpful to make sure you and your family are able to have the best Halloween possible. We hope that your Halloween is full of fun times and lots of great memories!
