Many people were not able to join us for our most recent event, Dopesick: Beyond the Book and Series. With the help of Rustic Roots Creative, we have created a recording of our panel discussion that is available for purchase. Our event provided a look into how Hollywood’s dramatization is Knoxville’s reality. Our diverse set of panelists gave unique insights into how the opioid epidemic started in our own backyard. All proceeds from this purchase will benefit The Gateway, Knoxville’s first Community Recovery Center opening in downtown Knoxville in Spring 2022. The Gateway will connect individuals and families to social and community resources, serve those who wish to uncover their unique path to long-term sustainable recovery, and give people the opportunity to give back to others as they strengthen their own recovery.
