MDC is retiring its “No Sale. No I.D. No Way.” retail campaign with new messaging. The window cling draws attention by using humor to deliver a no sale to minors message.
“Sometimes, servers and bartenders don’t check ID because the customer looks like they’re over 21, but you can never be sure unless you look at the date of birth,” MDC’s Heather Sutton said. “These stickers will help relay what the establishment’s expectation is when it comes to carding in a lighthearted way.”
All new beer sellers will receive a sticker and other prevention materials when they pick up their permit. Other establishments can request them by calling 588-5550.
