More About Beamer’s Buddies

Beamer the lightbulb boy is a character whose parents both struggle with addiction. Beamer’s face lights up in different colors to show his feelings, making it easier for children to identify and let out their feelings too.

The Beamer’s Buddies program is made up of six session, each lasting 1.5 hours. Each of the sessions is paired with fun activities that help kids learn about addiction and recovery. By coming together, each child will see that they are not alone, it is okay to have many different feelings, and that they can ask for help when they need it.
