Metro Drug Coalition is pleased to welcome our summer media relations intern, Caroline Prifti.

Caroline is a rising senior in the College of Communications at the University of Tennessee, majoring in public relations. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career working in a nonprofit organization or in a public relations firm.

Caroline is an active member of her Panhellenic Sorority, Pi Beta Phi. She is currently serving as the Vice President of Membership where she oversees the membership experience and recruitment. Outside of her sorority, Caroline is involved in two campus organizations, Volthon and Relay for Life. Outside of campus organizations and MDC, Caroline works at the jewelry store, Kendra Scott. During her free time, she likes to explore Knoxville with her friends, visit her family in Cincinnati, and finding projects from Pinterest.

Caroline hopes to learn more about drug addiction in the Knoxville area while gaining more experience in the field of public relations. She is looking forward to being more educated on how to prevent substance misuse in the local community, and how to present this information through different media outlets.

Welcome Caroline to the MDC team, we are so excited to have you this summer!
