The MDC would like to welcome the six new community leaders joining our board of directors.
Jeff Maples currently serves as the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration at the University of Tennessee. He has worked closely with several university departments for the past 24 years.
Reverend Steve Sexton is the director of Pastoral Care for UT Medical Center. Prior to his advancement, Sexton served 16 years as a chaplain in the Pastoral Care Department.
Dr. Suzanne Bailey is a Clinical Psychologist with Cherokee Health Systems. Dr. Bailey plays an important role with the women’s health clinic, providing integrated and specialized health care to women.
Chuck Morris is the principal owner of Morris Creative Group with over 25 years experience in marketing strategy, design and public relations. His experience is primarily in business-to-business advertising, publishing and digital/social media.
William Killian is the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee. Prior to this position, Killian was a sole practitioner in his law firm in Jasper, TN. He also served as the City Attorney for the town of Monteagle, TN for 21 years.
Lynne Fulgate is the Executive Vice President of CapitalMark Bank & Trust. She is also a newly elected chair of the Knox County School Board and current President of West High School Foundation.
