MDC is co-hosting the Knoxville Community Impact Summit from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Gateway Recovery Community Center. We’ll have panel discussions with experts from around the region on overdose prevention, opioid settlement fund strategies, and reducing stigma around substance use disorder – moderated by Dr. Stephen Loyd.

At 12:30 p.m., we’re cutting the ribbon on a new Naloxone vending machine outside our building that will provide free, no-barrier access to life-saving medication for anyone who needs it – any time, day or night.
