SUMMARY:FLOURISH: Compassion Fatigue in the Recovery Workforce
DESCRIPTION:Join us on September 3 for Part Two of our Summer Series on Empathy and Compassion Fatigue. Morning and Afternoon sessions are available. \n\n\n\nThis series will help professionals identify practical and sustainable ways to practice empathy and compassion\, both with our clients and with ourselves. In Part Two\, Barbara Mooney\, LCSW\, will teach professionals to identify early warning signs of compassion fatigue and apply realistic\, nervous-system-based self-care practices. Participants will explore myths that increase shame and self-blame and practice implementing experiential regulation strategies that can be used at work. \n\n\n\nThere are two session options\, 10 am – 12 pm OR 1 pm – 3 pm.
