DESCRIPTION:Join us on June 11 for Part One of our Summer Series on Empathy and Compassion Fatigue. Morning and Afternoon sessions are available. \n\n\n\nThis series will help professionals identify practical and sustainable ways to practice empathy and compassion\, both with our clients and with ourselves.  \n\n\n\nIn Part One\, Barbara Mooney\, LCSW\, will explore how empathetic practice can impact client outcomes. Participants will learn Motivational Interviewing techniques to enhance engagement and discuss common communication blocks in treatment settings. Participants will be given examples of experiential practices to strengthen empathetic presence and attunement. \n\n\n\nThere are two session options\, 10 am – 12 pm OR 1 pm – 3 pm.
